Bully preview debut album with ‘Trying’

Alicia Bognanno gets honest-to-the-bone for a self-produced track.

Nashville’s Bully are streaming ‘Trying’, another brutally honest punk feast from their debut album ‘Feels Like’, due out Stateside on 23rd June via StarTime International.

On this latest cut, Alicia Bognanno details the experience of life spiralling out of control. Close-to-the-bone lyrics share space with jagged power chords, all amounting to a vicious chorus chant where Bognanno admits she’s “trying to hide from my mind.” Anxious to the extreme, the only escape is via a tightly-wound thrash.
