Last month, Cage The Elephant announced details of new album ‘Social Cues’ with a video for first single ‘Ready To Let Go’.

Already set to head out on a US tour with Beck, the band have now announced a a handful of small UK club shows.

Their first shows on these shores since their Brixton Academy gig in 2017, the band will begin the run at London’s Heaven on 14th June before playing shows in Edinburgh and Birmingham.

“It can be a vehicle to act out things that are hard to confront,” frontman Matt Schultz says of the new album. “When I’m creating, I try to put myself in a reactive state of improvisational thought. I let images just arise in my mind and wait for it to evoke an emotional response and then when it does, I know I’m on to something. I was watching a lot of Fassbinder films, like World on a Wire and The Bitter Tears of Petra von Kant. I was thinking about their beauty coupled with the graphic surrealism of Aronofsky.”

View the new dates and watch the ‘Ready To Let Go’ video below.

JUNE
14 London, Heaven
17 Edinburgh, Liquid Rooms
18 Birmingham, Institute 2
