Cambio Sun streams new track, ‘Mad As They Come’

There’s a definite unhinged character at play behind the music of Cambio Sun. It might take a nutter to make songs like these - ‘Mad As They Come’ makes perfect sense, then, adding further fire to the East Londoner’s experimental trade.

Previously, Charlie Tait shared ‘Weight of the World’ (which premiered on DIY) and ‘Finite’. Both tracks steered ghostly electronics into folk-y territory, with Tait’s vocals coming off like Bon Iver in a post-‘Holocene’ haze.

On “Mad As They Come’, guitars are more pronounced, wobbly synths that little bit deeper. “All I want for you is to stay with me,” he says, in buckling tones. Every mad genius has their vice and their strength - for Tait, it looks like love is his weakness, music his get-out clause.
