Charli XCX revs up for ‘Vroom Vroom’ video

Charli XCX has unveiled the video for ‘Vroom Vroom’, the lead track from her collaborative EP with SOPHIE.

Pop-warping PC Music members make quick cameos in the clip. A.G. Cook balances on some railings, as you do. Hannah Diamond hangs out next to a Lambo. But with the exception of a token portable speaker plug, Charli’s the focus. She revs the engine on ‘Vroom Vroom’, backed by hyperactive dancers and a future-club vibe from a weird, parallel universe.

The song’s taken from an EP of the same name, released in February via Charli’s own Vroom Vroom Recordings, her new output for norm-shunning, experimental pop.
