Charli XCX teams up with Tove Lo and Alma on ‘Out Of My Head’

So, just earlier this week Charli XCX tweeted a tease about a potential upcoming project.

She said: “Imagine if i did another mixtape with Carly Rae Jepsen, Tove Lo, ALMA, Cupcakke, Brooke Candy, Pabllo Vittar, Caroline Polachek [from Chairlift], Jay Park, Kim Petras, Dorian Electra, Mykki Blanco, Tommy Cash, MØ and A.G.Cook. That would be pretty cool right..??”

Yeah, it’d be pretty cool! It was also curiously specific about the collaborators… Oh, that’s because a mixtape does exist! As reported by Stereogum, Charli was on BBC Radio 1 when she dropped some details about mixtape ‘POP 2’, which is out next week!

She also premiered a brand new track, ‘Out of My Head’, which features contributions from Tove Lo and Alma, as well as production from SOPHIE and PC Music man A.G. Cook.
