Childhood Announce Debut Album, ‘Lacuna’
Dan Carey-produced debut is release this August on House Anxiety / Marathon Artists.
Nottingham-formed, London-based four piece Childhood have announced details for their debut album, ‘Lacuna’.
The debut full-length comes out on Marathon / House Anxiety on 11th August. It was produced by Dan Carey at his South London studio, containing 11 tracks including ‘Blue Velvet’, ‘Solemn Skies’ and new single ‘Falls Away’.
About the new album, Ben Romans Hopcraft spoke to DIY, saying: ‘“The main thing for us is we’re really happy for it. I never wanted to do an album that was in any way personally underwhelming. We could have recorded most of the songs that people already know, stuck it on an album and moved on. We made a conscious effort to do lots of new stuff; just for us, mainly.”
‘Lacuna’ is launched with a London show at Oslo on 13th August.
