Childish Gambino is readying a new album

Looks like there’s still time for one more last-minute release in 2016.

Childish Gambino, aka Donald Glover, looks to have announced a new album titled ‘Awaken, My Love!’ Rumours of the release surfaced online when album details accidentally appeared on an FYE music shop. Last night, Glover shared cover art, captioned “…Awaken, My Love!”, a tweet then quoted by his label Glassnote Records.

The album is believed to be due on 2nd December. It will follow 2013’s ‘Because the Internet’ and the news that Glover will be starring as a young Lando Calrissian in the Han Solo ‘Star Wars’ film, due 2018.
