Chrissi drops empowering new track ‘HEARTLESS DARLIN’ !’
It’s a sassy, self-aware cut inspired by her decision “to de-centre romantic love and male validation”.

Essex favourite Chrissi is back with ‘HEARTLESS DARLIN’ !’, a stomping, self-assured new single that acts as a follow up to last year’s poignant release ‘ONE IN FIVE !’, as well as hinting at more new music to come soon from the Ivor Novello-nominated singer-songwriter.
Produced by Jonah Stevens, this latest offering finds Chrissi balancing confession with quiet confidence, rejecting crumbs of affection in favour of prioritising her own worth. “I wrote ‘HEARTLESS DARLIN’ !’ a few years ago about the freedom I felt after making the conscious decision to de-centre romantic love and male validation,” she has explained.
“It was a real moment of clarity for me, realising that my proximity to men is the least interesting thing about me. Working with Jonah, we wanted to contrast that sentiment with something that felt upbeat and genuinely fun to listen to.”
The track lands in the midst of her stint joining Skye Newman on tour around the UK and Europe, and also comes in the wake of her collaborations with Kojey Radical, Mahalia, and FLO. Watch this space for more news from Chrissi soon; in the meantime, have a listen to ‘HEARTLESS DARLIN’ !’ below.
