Christine & The Queens returns to top five of album chart in midweek update

Christine & The Queens’ surge into the UK’s consciousness is continuing - she’s back in the top five of the album charts at the midweek stage.

Huge recent sets at Glastonbury and Latitude have given Héloïse Letissier a chance of making the top five this week, which would be the highest her album ‘Chaleur Humaine’ has charted thus far.

Michael Kiwanuka currently sits at number one with new album ‘Love & Hate’, while Adele is predictably still in the mix, at #2 with ‘25’.

Christine & The Queens last week announced a show at London’s Brixton Academy, which sold out in under an hour. Another was immediately added, and also sold out in double quick time. She’s also set to play gigs in Manchester and Glasgow this November.
