Chvrches perform ‘Clearest Blue’ on Late Late Show
It’s part of their whole ‘conquering America’ thing.
If there’s one thing Late Late Show host James Corden likes doing, it’s showing off fellow Brits - the show has featured appearances from The Maccabees (his “favourite band”), Bloc Party, and Wolf Alice during its short life so far to name just three - and last night it was the turn of conquering heroes (because y’know, they’re pretty much ‘breaking America’ as the phrase goes) Chvrches, as they played ‘Clearest Blue’ from this year’s smash, ‘Every Open Eye’.
After a series of festive gigs Stateside, the band head Down Under in late January, appear on Paramore’s Parahoy in March, have sold out the Royal Albert Hall, and headline Glasgow’s SSE Hydro arena on 2nd April.
They have also already been confirmed for Way Out West, Flow and Melt! festivals in 2016.
