recently took it upon themselves to battle posting charges by sending out a heavy 4-track recorder to 12 different artists. The likes of Cloud Nothings (pictured), Porcelain Raft and Mikal Cronin all used the same equipment to record two exclusive songs, amounting to a 7’ series of singles.
The recorder itself travelled 20,000 miles - the poor bugger - to help make this happen. Diane Coffee, Efterklang, Hospitality, Into it. Over It., John Vanderslice, Matt Pryor, Mynabirds, Thao And The Get Down Stay Down, Sexton Blake all got involved.
