Cloud Nothings share ‘Psychic Trauma’ clip
Band employ an under-ether effect for their misty-eyed new video.
Cloud Nothings have either taken a few more sedatives of their own, or they’ve fed them to the director, in a trippy-to-the-extreme new video for ‘Psychic Trauma’,
The clip sees Dylan Baldi and co. thrashing away at a highlight from ‘Here and Nowhere Else’, their superb new album out now on Wichita. The direct, jagged application of the song itself is countered with the cinematic equivalent of someone waking up, bleary eyed, only to be prompted with the most intense alarm bell of all time. A suitably traumatic experience.
John Ryan Manning directs and edits the clip.
