Cloud Nothings Unveil New Material At SXSW
The band are reportedly set to release a new album later this year.
Cloud Nothings’ 2012 album ‘Attack On Memory’ was Number 33 on our list of the year’s best records, so it’s no surprise we’re quite excited about news of a follow-up.
Back in December, main man Dylan Baldi claimed he’d written most of it, stating the new material would be ‘a little less melodic. It’s noisier and less straightforward’.
The album is tentatively titled (according to the band’s Wikipedia page, at least) ‘Body Music’, which, incidentally, is also the title of AlunaGeorge’s forthcoming debut, expected this summer.
Earlier this week, during a performance at SXSW, fans were treated to a snippet of what to expect from the record - and one inevitably captured it on video.
Watch and listen to the new song below.
