Conor Oberst unveils tender video for ‘You Are Your Mother’s Child’

Currently in the middle of an array of festival appearances and shows, Conor Oberst has found time to reveal a brand new video.

Having completed a stint of UK performances in the UK last week - which saw him play his own London headline show, as well as a set at this weekend’s Latitude Festival - the singer has now unveiled the clip for his new track ‘You Are Your Mother’s Child’.

Taken from his recently-released solo album ‘Upside Down Mountain’, the cut is one of the more gentle offerings from the full-length, telling the story of two parents and the life of their child. The accompanying video - the second to be taken from his new record - reflects the song’s tender message, showing clips of children giggling and playing under the sunshine, as Oberst performs the track on an old television set.
