Nile Rodgers is in town, according to reports, suggesting ‘Get Lucky’ will get its first live performance tonight.

Tonight’s episode of the ‘Stephen Colbert Report’ looks set to host the world exclusive first performance of Daft Punk’s ‘Get Lucky’.

‘The electronic music duo Daft Punk helps Stephen perform the song of the summer at this year’s Colbchella’, reads a blurb on the show’s website.

Colbert’s either referring to ‘Get Lucky’ or Miley Cyrus’ ‘We Can’t Stop’, and let’s face it, it’s unlikely the robotic duo will be tempted to take on the latter.

Consequence of Sound also point out that Nile Rodgers is in New York. So it’s all falling into place.

The performance was teased by Colbert when he turned up on Jimmy Fallon playing ‘Get Lucky’ out of a loudspeaker. He seems excited:
