Daft Punk Unveil ‘Get Lucky’ Teaser Trailer
The French dance duo seem to have given us a hint at the Pharrell Williams and Nile Rodgers collaboration.
Daft Punk have been dropping hints left, right and centre about their forthcoming album ‘Random Access Memories’, but now it seems like we have our first real taste of what’s to come.
Having already previewed a tiny instrumental snippet in an advert during the US primetime TV show Saturday Night Live, those same audiences were treated to an extended trailer this weekend.
Starring both Nile Rodgers and Pharrell Williams, you can watch the robots performing alongside them in the ‘Get Lucky’ preview video below.
The advert was also aired across the screens at this weekend’s Coachella festival, with the clip listing the album’s contributors: Panda Bear, Julian Casablancas, Pharrell, Paul Williams, Nile Rodgers, Giorgio Moroder, Chilly Gonzales, DJ Falcon, and Todd Edwards.
And if you want an even deeper insight into their follow-up to 2005’s ‘Human After All’, you can watch a handful of videos from their ‘The Collaborators’ episode series, as featuring Giorgio Moroder, Todd Edwards and Nile Rodgers below.
Daft Punk’s new album, ‘Random Access Memories’ is due on 21st May.
PS. The Robots have got some shiny new outfits, too.
