Listen: Dan Deacon Remixes ‘Call Me Maybe’

Electro-whizz offers up bonkers alternative version featuring 147 looped vocal samples.

We’ve all heard Carly-Rae Jepsen’s haven’t we?, and we all agree it has the chorus of the year, right? So it’d be foolish to try and build on it, correct?

Enter Dan Deacon, who’s created a mind-warpingly brilliant take on the summer smash featuring 147 (yes, one hundred and forty seven) diferent looped vocal samples to create a hypnotic pop masterpiece.

Call Me Maybe Acapella 147 Times Exponentially Layered by Dan Deacon

The track is part of a 43-minute album featuring no fewer than 29 remixes of the pop hit. Sadly at the time of going to press The Cookie Monster’s seminal version had not been included.
