You're Only Yung Once
Danish punks Yung unveil ‘Nobody Cares’ track from new EP
Tough Love are putting out ‘Alter’ next month.

‘Nobody Cares’ is a despondent, sick-to-death-of-everything introduction to Yung, a Danish four-piece who’ve been playing hell-raising shows in their native country for the last few months.
Bringing together classical punk influences with a keen ear for relentless fuzz, this new track leads a forthcoming EP, ‘Alter’. Out 3rd February on UK label Tough Love, it’s the band’s first international release, bringing together tracks recorded back in 2013. A quick introduction giving way to something much bigger, then. Frontman Mikkel Holm Silkjær, at 20 years old, already sounds like a figurehead for the frustrated youth.
