Darkside announce project’s final show “for now”

Nicolas Jaar and Dave Harrington’s collaborative project will draw to a close this September.

Darkside have announced that they’ll play their final show - “for now”, at least - this September in Brooklyn, New York.

The collaborative project between Nicolas Jaar & Dave Harrington recently completed a run of performances around the European festival circuit - including a slot at this year’s Beacons - and still have a handful of shows left in their schedule. The duo have, however, now announced that “Darkside is coming to an end, for now”, with their final performance due on 12th September.

The news from the band appeared on their Twitter page, with the two-piece also saying, “thanks for listening and supporting us this year.”

The duo, who released their debut full-length ‘Psychic’ late last year, will make their last live appearance at Brooklyn’s Masonic Temple.

Alongside the announcement, the band also posted links to two songs, as taken from their ‘Psychic’ sessions, which didn’t make it onto the album. Listen to ‘What They Say’ and ‘Gone Too Soon’ - which will both appear on Other People’s WORK compilation, as due for release this autumn - below.
