Darkstar Announce New Single, ‘Timeaway’
The 12-inch will be released via Warp on 12th November.
Darkstar are to release a new single next month.
‘Timeaway’ will be released via Warp - the band’s debut on the label - on 12th November, on 12-inch featuring ten locked-groove loops.
The track was recorded in the countryside of West Yorkshire with producer Richard Formby. Of the space, the trio’s James Young said: “Every place warrants a story. No matter where it is, how quiet, remote or disconnected. There are moments in people’s everyday lives, no matter how subtle, that can be documented and talked about in great detail. The instances spiral and ascend and take on their own course, altering the perception of how even the slightest change in a day can be felt deeply.”
