Daughn Gibson previews new album with ‘It Wants Everything’
Dusky, electronic cut is taken from a new LP on Sub Pop.
Daughn Gibson releases his third album ‘Carnation’ on 8th June, and he’s previewing the release with a new track - ‘It Wants Everything’.
A “worked up”, smoky preview of what to expect, it sits somewhere between the True Detective soundtrack and the show’s grimy off-road bars. The song is built around a shriek-led explosion two-and-a-half-minutes in, where previously restructured parts begin to make sense.
‘Carnation’ is out 8th June via Sub Pop, and it’s available for pre-order here.
Tracklist:
1. Bled to Death
2. Heaven You Better Come In
3. Shatter You Through

6. A Rope Ain’t Enough
7. I Let Him Deal
8. Shine of the Night
9. Runaway and the Pyro
