Daughn Gibson returns with ‘Shatter You Through’ track, taken from a new LP
Pennsylvania songwriter’s new album is out this June.
Pennsylvania’s Daughn Gibson has returned with ‘Shatter You Through’, the first track from his new album ‘Carnation’.
His follow-up to ‘Me Moan’ is due out 6th June, following a 1st / 2nd release across Europe and North America respectively. It’s available for pre-order via Sub Pop here.
Lead track ‘Shatter You Through’ sees Gibson filtering his nostalgia-laced twang into something future-leaning, doused in synths and bright guitar lines, bouncing off the walls. There’s still the same whiskey-soaked voice linking everything together, mind you, and Daughn’s storytelling remains key.
