David Lynch to release memoir
Collaboration with journalist Kristine McKenna aims to rid the “bullshit” surrounding Lynch.
David Lynch has confirmed plans to release an autobiography.
The director and musician is teaming up with journalist Kristine McKenna in a project that aims to put the world to rights, as reports The Guardian. “There’s a lot of bullshit out there about me, in books and all over the Internet,” reads a statement from Canongate.
“I want to get all the right information in one place, so if someone wants to know something, they can find it here. And I wouldn’t do it with anyone other than Kristine; she and I go way back, and she gets it right.”
McKenna is set to conduct up to ninety interviews with friends and collaborators who’ve appeared in Lynch’s life, coupled with reflections from the man himself.
David Lynch is currently working on the third series of cult phenomenon Twin Peaks, set to air in 2017.
