Day Wave share new single ‘Come Home Now’
Song is taken from an upcoming 7” on new singles label House Arrest Records.
Day Wave, the buzzy dream pop project of Oakland’s Jackson Phillips, has been turning heads for quite some time. Having first appeared with the debut track ‘Nothing At All’ in November last year he’s now back with the new single ‘Come Home Now’.
This is the first taste of new music from Day Wave since the self-released ‘Headcase’ debut EP in July, and it’s a welcome return - summery lo-fi guitar pop, taking its cues from the likes of Wild Nothing and Beach Fossils.
‘Come Home Now’ will be released as a limited edition 7” single on 6th November, along with b-side ‘You Are Who You Are’, via the newly started House Arrest Recs singles label, a venture from the crew behind Hate Hate Hate (The Wytches, Theo Verney, Fat White Family).
