Deaf Havana have posted a new song clip

They’re due to follow up ‘Old Souls’ next year.

Earlier this year it was revealed that they’re in the studio working on album four, and now Deaf Havana are teasing new material via their Instagram.

The short clip is backed simply by a haze of synth work and frontman James Veck-Gilodi’s unmistakably earnest vocals, aesthetically sharing more in common with the band’s ‘Fools & Worthless Liars’ LP than the more classic-rock inspired recent record ‘Old Souls’. “I blacked out til the morning broke, I was swallowing glass, inhaling smoke - I lost my mind in a haze of cobbled streets and broken windows,” he sings - the clip’s viewable below.

Deaf Havana also recently announced that founding guitarist Chris Pennells (second from left, above) was leaving the band to focus on other ventures. Firm details for the new album are unknown, but they’re embarking on a short run of UK dates next month with The Xcerts in support, where new material will presumably be debuted. Those dates are as follows:

NOVEMBER
19 Leeds, The Wardrobe
20 Edinburgh, La Belle Angele
21 Dundee, Buskers
22 Liverpool, O2 Academy 2
23 London, Islington Assembly Hall
