Deafheaven stream ‘New Bermuda’ album in full

Follow-up to ‘Sunbather’ is out next week.

Ahead of its 2nd October release, Deafheaven are streaming their ‘New Bermuda’ album in full.

The follow-up to 2013 breakthrough ‘Sunbather’ sees the group constructing five all-enveloping monsters, each one bringing a diverse take on metal.

In the September issue of DIY, frontman George Clarke says the album involved them figuring out their sound, more so than on ‘Sunbather’. “We were a little bit more confident with our songwriting going into this record and also, we had been playing with the band that we currently have, for the last three years.

“I think we’re always going to sound ‘like us’ to a degree. I think we do have our own sound but we just didn’t want to write the same record.”
