Death Grips stream ‘Jenny Death’ in full, “might make some more” albums
Listen in full to double album ‘The Powers That B’.
‘The Powers That B’ - billed as Death Grips’ final album since the elusive group declared they were calling it a day - is now streaming in full.
Second half of the LP ‘Jenny Death’ links up with ‘Niggas on the Moon’. Ride, Zach Hill and Andy Morin claimed that ‘Jenny Death’ had “leaked”, so they streamed the whole thing in Youtube. Listen below.
Physical copies of ‘The Powers That B’ will be made available via Third Worlds / Harvest from 31st March.
Back in July 2014, Death Grips announced their split in the form of a hand-written note.
The note read: “We are now at our best and so Death Grips is over. We have officially stopped. All currently scheduled live dates are canceled. Our upcoming double album the powers that b will still be delivered worldwide later this year via Harvest/Third Worlds Records. Death Grips was and always has been a conceptual art exhibition anchored by sound and vision. Above and beyond a “band”. To our truest fans, please stay legend.”
Anyone thinking it’ll be the group’s last album - don’t take those previous statements for fact. Earlier today Death Grips wrote on Facebook: “You’re right, we might make some more.”
