Deptford Goth announces ‘Songs’ LP, streams ‘The Lovers’ song
Daniel Woolhouse’s second album is due out this November.

Daniel Woolhouse has announced plans to release his second Deptford Goth album, ‘Songs’, this autumn.
The follow-up to 2013 debut ‘Life After Defo’ - an experimental first work that every so often landed on the sweetest of pop songs - arrives on 4th November via 37 Adventures / PIAS.
It’s led by ‘The Lovers’, an intentionally disjointed synth track that’s full of warm chords and overlapping rhythms. Near beat-less at times, some elements sound like they’ve stepped right out of a ‘90s SEGA game soundtrack, others as if they’ve emerged from some future portal.
‘The Lovers’ is streaming below. See the tracklist for ‘Songs’ above the player.
