Destroyer announces new album ‘Poison Season’, shares ‘Dream Lover’

Dan Bejar aka Destroyer has announced plans to release a new full-length.

‘Poison Season’ is due out 28th August via Dead Oceans. The the Vancouver native has also announced a world tour, with UK shows kicking off this October and checking in at London, Brighton, Leeds and Bristol.

Lead single ‘Dream Lover’ is streaming below. In the new issue of DIY, Bejar says he took on a kind of recording process for ‘Poison Season’. “This way of working was kind of new to me,” he tells Danny Wright. “Just recording music live off the floor is not something I’ve done very much and that felt pretty good. I’ve never done much work with strings either so that was pretty interesting. But I should add, none of those things have any value whatsoever unless it’s good.”
