Tomorrow (Friday 20th October), Destroyer is set to release new album ‘ken’.
After already sharing ‘Sky’s Grey’ and the more recent ‘Tinseltown Swimming In Blood’ (which also had a video based on the 1962 French film ‘La Jetée’), Dan Bejar has given one last taste of what to expect from the record. ‘Cover From The Sun’ is a two-minute, driving alt-rock number that’s filled with propulsive riffs and tambourines as Dan twists his lines – including images of a blond Che Guevara and Shakespeare just hanging out in the park – around the foundation.
Destroyer will be heading on tour across the UK in November and December. Tickets are on sale now.
