Destroyer stream new album, ‘Poison Season’

Destroyer releases new album, ‘Poison Season’ next week (28th August), having already previewed it with tracks ‘Dream Lover’, ‘Girl in a Sling’, and ‘Times Square’.

Now he’s sharing the whole lot, ahead of a sprinkling of European tour dates beginning this October, with nights in London, Brighton, Leeds and Bristol planned.

“I knew I didn’t want synthesisers and drum machines. And I didn’t want to stare at a computer for 18 months,” he told us about ‘Poison Season’ back in the June issue, “I mean there are still similarities – a lot of the band are the same. The big difference is the rock’n’roll drummer and the presence of full-blown rock’n’roll piano player.”
