Pre-orders of the album went on sale earlier this week

Jay-Z and Kanye West are to release a collaborative album named ‘Watch The Throne’.

Pre-orders of the album went on sale earlier this week, with Jay-Z holding a listening party for a select number of journalists in New York last night.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the regular version includes 10 songs, with the deluxe version hosting four bonus tracks. The extensive list of producers credited include Kanye, Jay-Z, Swizz Beatz, No I.D. and Lex Luger.

Beyoncé will also be lending her talents to the album, with track ‘Lift Off’ featuring vocals from Mrs Jay-Z herself, along with Bruno Mars.

The album’s distinct cover showcases metallic gold artwork designed by Givenchy creative director Riccardo Tisci.

No date has yet been confirmed for the album’s release, and according to Pitchfork, there are believed to currently be three versions in existance.

Fans can ‘like’ the Watch The Throne Facebook page to listen to ‘H.A.M.’, a collaborative track from the two leading men.
