Dornik streams new single, ‘On My Mind’

London musician Dornik Leigh’s fledging solo project just took another firm step forwards with ‘On My Mind’, his new single forthcoming on PMR Records.

Dornik’s foundations come from drumming for Jessie Ware, but last year he set the feelers out for solo material with ‘Rebound’ and breakthrough debut ‘Something About You’.

New track ‘On My Mind’ fleshes the loved-up intentions of his 2013/early 2014 singles even further. Hints of Thundercat clatter into the foreground, with smoothed-out, jazz-indebted synth lines, and beyond the snapping percussive parts, Dornik spends the entire time shedding his soul from behind a microphone.

‘On My Mind’ is forthcoming on PMR, with a debut album due out in 2015.
