Dornik unveils new B-side, ‘Second Thoughts’

London musician Dornik Leigh is sharing ‘Second Thoughts’, his slickest track to date (and the competition’s tough - despite being new to the scene, this guy is a proven smooth operator).

Acting as the b-side on his new single ‘On My Mind’, it’s a song that mixes a distant, lounge music-style backing with unapologetically upfront vocals.

Leigh’s spent the past couple of years acting as drummer in Jessie Ware’s live band, and ‘Second Thoughts’ is loaded with tight, bass-wobbling beats. It’s all about the vocals though, expressing every intake of breath just as willingly as a lyrical confession.

‘On My Mind’ / ‘Second Thoughts’ is forthcoming on PMR, with a debut album due out in 2015.
