Download to announce first 2015 bands next Monday
Current rumours suggest Muse, Slipknot and Kiss are set to headline.
Download Festival is due to announce its first set of bands this Monday (17th November) at 8am.
Festival organiser Andy Copping revealed the announcement date this afternoon on his personal Twitter profile. He may, however have been beaten to the punch by Kiss’ Gene Simmons earlier this week, who reportedly leaked a handful of bands for the Donnington bash on his own Twitter.
Simmons’ leak saw Kiss, Motley Crüe, Enter Shikari and Slash form the first announcement – though it’s worth noting that Copping has since declared the leaked poster a fake.
Other rumblings around the 2015 event suggest Slipknot and Muse will fill the remaining headliner slots, with Faith No More, A Day To Remember and Judas Priest also strongly rumoured.
Featuring Yard Act, Death Cab For Cutie, Graham Coxon, Maisie Peters and more.
