Dream Wife have announced who has been selected to support them on their upcoming tour
The band put out an open call for female and non-binary support artists back in July.
Back in July, Dream Wife announced that they were launching an open call to find female and non-binary support acts for their tour - and they’ve now announced who’ll be supporting them on some of their upcoming UK and Ireland tour dates!
When announcing the open call, the band - who are teaming up with non-profit organisations Girls Rock London and the Girls Rock Camp Alliance for the initiative - posted to Twitter: “One of the best things about touring is getting to meet, exchange ideas with, and play music alongside kickass bands from all over the world. For our autumn headline tour dates we are calling for women/non-binary artists to come share their music, thoughts, the night and a stage with us.
Gender diversity in the music industry is still an issue and the aim is to provide a platform for women/NB musicians regardless of experience, financial backing, number of online followers etc.”
