Dream Wife share title track of new album ‘Social Lubrication’
The album is out on 9 June.
Dream Wife are gearing up to release their third album, ‘Social Lubrication’, on 9th June via Lucky Number. Just days in advance, they have released the record’s final single in the form of the title track. Watch the video, made by the band themselves, below.
They had previously released the singles ‘Who Do You Wanna Be?’, ‘Orbit’, ‘Hot (Don’t Date a Musician)’ and ‘Leech’.
Speaking about the song, the band have said: “Exhausted. Done with being polite, done with sugar coating, placating, and pandering to patriarchal bullshit. Wanting to just exist, in this body without being pigeon-holed or judged for the bodies we exist in. Do the job well. Show up. Not play other people games. You can’t fix something rotten to the core - we need revolution not reform.”
