Drenge to preview new material live this week

They’ll be showing off “in progress” music in Sheffield on Friday.

Attention, Drenge fans! The band are set to play a last minute show of “in progress” new music, later this week in their hometown of Sheffield.

“We’re playing a show of new material,” the brothers Loveless confirmed on twitter, adding that support will come from Kong. The gig takes place at The Rocking Chair, on Friday 30th September. Tickets are on sale here from midday today (26th Sept).

Drenge’s last album ‘Undertow’ came out in April last year, and they’re currently writing the follow-up.

Please note that, despite Drenge’s favoured image of choice below, Hozier, Eoin’s lookalike George Ezra, and James ‘the hat’ Bay, won’t be appearing at the show. At least, we don’t think so…
