EMA Posts B-Side For New Single

EMA has posted the b-side for her forthcoming single ‘Marked’; have a listen to ‘Angelo’ below. The tracks will be released on 21st November via Souterrain Transmissions, available both digitally on limited edition 7’.

The song features a guest verse by Mz’Gorjis of Oakland, CA’s Platnum Platnum Glam Squad. Speaking of the collaboration, EMA says: “I first saw Mz’Gorjis perform at the Black Cowboy Parade in West Oakland. It was fantastic. Later when I was looking for a rapper to guest on Angelo I thought of her. The song is about Oakland and the different ways people try to make a name for themselves there. Her local connection was important to me. I find her performance on the track to be graceful and refined.”
