Exclusive: Tom Williams & The Boat Unveil New Video

‘Teenage Blood’ was directed by Anthony Jarman and produced by Tom Williams and Samantha Spurgin.

Morning everyone. Still a bit sluggish from the weekend, finding it hard to ease back into the working week?

Well why even bother, why not procrastinate a little further and indulge yourselves with the new video from Tom Williams & The Boat?

The video accompaniment to track ‘Teenage Blood’ is exclusive to DIY.

This is what Tom had to say about the clip:

‘This was a really fun video to make! We thought the song had a country rock edge to it so it’d be a good excuse to dress up as cowboys. We hired out a beautiful 1930’s train carriage in tunbridge wells and filmed it on one the coldest days in January. I think Ant (guitar) had the best outfit, I was very jealous of his shirt…he just rocked up all kitted out, caught us out all scruffy! I think it’s a great little video, very tongue in cheek and a lot of fun.’

The video was directed by Anthony Jarman and produced by Tom Williams and Samantha Spurgin. The director added:

‘A period piece with costume, set on a train and shot with some lovely kit including a Red ONE! All of the locations were in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. As well as the video itself being a success, there is also a repackaged ‘Teenage Blood’ silent movie coming soon and also a ‘making of’ video. The children of Tunbridge Wells Trinity Youth Theatre played a very important role in the video too, as you can see. Hopefully all of you watching it will enjoy it as much as we did making it.’
