Exclusive: Watch: Jewellers Unveil New Video For ‘ThirtySix’
The follow-up to ‘Sleep Education’ is available to stream and download now.

Jewellers have given DIY an exclusive look at their brand new video for ‘ThirtySix’.
Taken from their new album ‘Lakeswimmer’, the video was directed by filmmaker and friend of the band, Jack Offord, who gave us this insight into the visuals: ‘As a girl sleeps her dreams become projected on the room around her, her love of dancing becoming an overwhelming spectacle that is born, grows, and dies without a single spectator.’
Speaking of their new album itself - the follow-up to their debut ‘Sleep Education’ - the Gareths from Jewellers made the following comments: ‘We started forming this album pretty much a year ago, just after we released ‘Sleep Education’. We aimed to move away from ambient soundscapes and sampled loops towards a more beat-driven, glitchy and warped sound. We got really excited when songs like Sing Trees were forming so wanted to make more of these upbeat and densely layered tracks.’
‘We spent a lot more time on the production of this album than we did on the first; we’ve had this tracklisting in place for quite a while which has allowed us to get really picky with the structure and overall sound of the album. Dean Howe provided us with the artwork, it’s part of a much larger, high quality image which Dean took on a large format camera.’
‘Lakeswimmer’ is now available to stream and download - yep, as of right now - over at www.jewellersmusic.com.
