Fall Out Boy release video for ‘American Beauty / American Psycho’

The title track for their upcoming album is now accompanied by a shady clip.

Following yesterday’s unveiling of artwork for upcoming album ‘American Beauty / American Psycho’, and another track in the form of ‘The Kids Aren’t Alright’, today Fall Out Boy return with a video for the album’s title-track and latest single.

The clip for ‘American Beauty / American Psycho’ aligns with the album artwork, and sees the face-paint adorned boy of the cover stumble across a shady underground meet-up that’s equal parts Fight Club and Black Swan.

It’s all set to the frankly bananas track, which DIY recently declared full of “bombast, chanting, a wide-eyed ADHD pseudo rave and four part harmonies.” ‘American Beauty / American Psycho’ (the album) will be released on January 19th via Pete Wentz’s own DCD2 Records and Island Records.

The single is out now, and iTunes pre-orders of the album will be granted immediate downloads of ‘American Beauty…’, ‘Centuries’ and ‘The Kids Aren’t Alright’.

Watch the clip below.

Fall Out Boy will also be playing one show in the UK next year, at London’s Islington Assembly Hall on 14th January 2015.
