False alarm: The Blood Brothers aren’t coming to the UK
Panic over.

Despite initial excitement and mild panic, The Blood Brothers are not coming to the UK for reunion shows, as previously reported.
A gig poster showing 2015 dates billed a UK return for the band, but as confirmed by booking firm Primary, these shows are actually being played by an act called The Mission. “The Blood Brothers are a law unto themselves,” their statement reads. “I feel like I’ve got my mojo back so will have to be very careful not to overdo it on these band shows as rehab is too expensive to go through again.” So yeah, this isn’t The Blood Brothers - excitement over. The venues made sense, the dates left a Primavera-shaped hole, but it’s not happening.
Having first announced their hiatus back in 2007, the REAL Blood Brothers - Seattle post-hardcore heroes - made their comeback earlier this year when they made an appearance at this year’s FYFest back in August. Since then, they’ve played a scattering of other shows in the US - including a set at Austin, Texas’ Fun Fun Fun Fest .
