Father John Misty shares new ‘Mahashmashana’ preview ‘She Cleans Up’
He’s also announced details of 2025 headline tour dates in North America, Europe, and the UK.

Father John Misty has shared new offering ‘She Cleans Up’, the latest single to be lifted from his forthcoming album ‘Mahashmashana’ (due out on 22nd November via Bella Union (UK/Europe) and Sub Pop (ROW)).
A swaggering, groove-imbued number, it follows the release of recent tracks ‘I Guess Time Just Makes Fools Of Us All’ and ‘Screamland’ - a seven-minute epic that features Low’s Alan Sparhawk on guitar.
Taking its name from a Sanskrit word meaning “great cremation ground, all things put going thither”, ‘Mahashmashana’ will be FJM’s sixth studio LP, and the follow up to2022’s ‘Chloë and The Next 20th Century’.
What’s more, to mark his new track, the enigmatic songwriter has also announced a 2025 headline tour - kicking off on 12th February in Chattanooga, Tennessee, it’ll see him play 13 shows across North America before crossing the pond for a run of European and UK dates.
