Field Music share a new video for ‘Count It Up’
They released their latest album ‘Open Here’ earlier in the month.
After releasing their latest album ‘Open Here’ earlier in the month, Field Music have shared a video for its single ‘Count It Up’.
In the clip directed by Andy Martin, David and Peter Brewis navigate the landscape of Sunderland, driving together in a car, walking near the city’s new bridge, along its riverside and through the streets.
David said of the video: “We initially talked about filming this video in parts of Sunderland that were either conspicuously run down or conspicuously well-to-do but once we started, we realised that the most interesting locations were the ones that had been up and down and sometimes were up and down at the same time; derelict factories that used to be the economic centre of the city or former shipyards that had been turned into apartments or business parks”.
Having played two shows in Newcastle recently, Field Music are taking ‘Open Here’ on tour around the UK in March, with a show alongside the Open Here Orchestra in May. Tickets are on sale now.
