Fifth Floor Fest, taking place in May, will also see Tim Burgess take to the decks for a special DJ set.

Fifth Floor & DIY to team up for Manchester all-day event with Pyncher, Holly Head & more

It’s only been a few weeks since DIY teamed up with international concert promoters Fifth Floor for an explosive show in Bristol, and now, we’re thrilled to announce there’s another on the horizon! Taking place in a secret location in music hub Manchester, Fifth Floor Fest will play host to performances from five ace acts on 8th May 2026.

Having first established themselves back in 2013 after hosting a secret warehouse show with The Murlocs in their hometown of Melbourne, Australia, Fifth Floor have since made a name for themselves with their secret show series, which has also taken place in the UK and Berlin, and featured performances from the likes of Fat White Family, Carl Barat & The Jackals and more.

The latest edition of the Fifth Floor live series - which follows on from the Heavy Lungs show at The Louisiana in January - is a collaboration with local promoters Akoustik Anarkhy (who’ll be DJing throughout the day), and will be headlined by buzzy Manchester upstarts Pyncher, who are fresh from a sold-out UK tour and the release of their debut EP, ‘Every Town Needs A Stranger’.

Elsewhere across the day, there’ll be performances from the likes of Holly Head, Deaf Deaf Deaf, Getner, and Hauspoints, as well as a special DJ set by none other than Tim Burgess

As ever when it comes to Fifth Floor shows, you’ll need to grab a ticket before learning the show’s location, but rest assured, it’s an iconic location in the city…

Fancy being there? Of course you do! Just head to Skiddle to secure your pre-sale ticket now (there’s also a v limited run of early bird tickets - so be quick!) and check out the poster - as designed by Simon Tripcony - below.
