Coming very soon Flume announces ‘Skin Companion II’ EP
And it’s out next Friday!
Last year Flume released a “companion” EP to his debut album ‘Skin’, made up of tracks written around the same time as the record, and now the producer has revealed he’s got another one in the pipeline.
You won’t have to wait long for the ‘Skin Companion II’ EP to come out either – it’s due to drop on Friday 17th February! It’s again set to feature tracks taken from the ‘Skin’ recording sessions and will feature four tracks: ‘Enough’, ‘Weekend’, ‘Depth Charge’ and ‘Fantastic’.
Harley Streten told us in a feature from last year that he was going to break with the traditional ways of releasing music. He said: “I’m going to do an album like this one, and then just keep putting stuff out there, without the traditional breaks. I want to be able to make something in the day, and then play it that night. I like the immediacy of that kind of thing.”
Check out four snippets of what to expect from ‘Skin Companion II’ below.
