Flying Lotus distributing free copies of ‘You’re Dead!’ in UK record shops

There’s only one weekend left until Flying Lotus’ ‘You’re Dead!’ LP arrives in shops, but eager fans might be able to pick up a rare, free test pressing if they’re quick.

Ten copies of the album have been distributed in UK record shops, according to Bang On PR via FACT. Only independent retailers are participating, which makes the likes of Bristol’s Rise, Brighton Resident, Manchester’s Piccadilly and London’s Rough Trade East/West likely candidates.

Anyone plucky enough to find a copy within record shelves gets to keep it, for free.

Out Friday 6th October via Warp, DIY’s review of ‘You’re Dead!’ says “there’s a blind fear to this wild goose chase, and Ellison’s there at the desk, documenting it all like some distressed god watching down on the apocalypse.”
