Flying Lotus, Kayatranada & Jon Hopkins for Radio 1 Residency

Flying Lotus, Kaytranada and Jon Hopkins are just three of the artists that BBC Radio 1 have announced will take part in their Residency series for 2015.

Other acts contributing to the series include Skream, George FitzGerald, Hannah Wants, Heidi and Solomon, totalling up to eight artists who will be showcasing their curated entertainment on Radio 1 on Thursday evenings between 10pm-1am throughout January.

Kaytranada, who confirmed his forthcoming album plans yesterday, stated: “During my high school days, I used to listen to my favourite DJs mixes on BBC and now, here I am. Damn. I’m going to play the best music for y’all.”

2015’s crop of artists will replace SOHN, Jackmaster, Moxie, Martin Garrix and James Blake who, amongst others, took the reigns this year.
