Big shows alert
Foals add extra London, Manchester and Birmingham dates to UK tour
That’s an awful lot of tickets…
Good news, Foals fans! Tickets for their eagerly-awaited live return might have been flying out of the screens like metaphorical hot cakes since they went on sale this morning, but now the band have added extra dates in London, Manchester and Birmingham to keep you satisfied.
Selling out the capital’s 10,000-cap Alexandra Palace in an hour (!), the now-quartet have added a second date on Saturday 22nd June in the mega venue. They’ll also be turning up for a second night at Manchester’s O2 Victoria Warehouse on 12th June and Digbeth Arena on 16th June.
The news comes after the bloody excellent band returned with ‘Exits’ - the first cut from their forthcoming fifth album, ‘Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost - Part I’. We called it a track that “musically ties together everything that’s come before” and possibly their “definitive statement”.
And with a second album due in Autumn, it’s safe to say we’ll be seeing a lot more of Yannis and his pals throughout 2019. Which suits us just fine.
